An elderly woman told Sen. Kamala Harris exactly how she felt about “Medicare for All” during the senator’s visit to Iowa on Monday.

Harris visited an assisted living facility in Muscatine where she met 92-year-old Roberta Jewell who took advantage of her opportunity to question the Democratic presidential hopeful about her health care policy.

“I understand that you are advocating health care for everyone,” Jewell started.

Harris confirmed that was true.

“Who’s going to pay for it?” Jewell asked.

“Well, we’re going to pay for it. Because right now let me tell you something, we’re all paying for health care for everyone,” Harris responded.

The 92-year-old self-described Republican wasn’t buying into Harris’ answer and challenged the senator on her position.

“No, we’re not,” Jewell said. “No, we’re not. Leave our health care system alone. We don’t want you to mess with it.”

Harris told the woman she didn’t intend on messing with her personal health care, even promising her that it would remain how she likes it.

Sound familiar?

The presidential candidate soon departed to avoid any further conversation with the woman.

Jewell later said she hasn’t heard a “decent” answer from and Democratic presidential candidate when it comes to health care.

"I can't understand how these candidates expect to pay for everybody's health care," she told KPVI-TV. "Somebody's got to pay the bill."
