Karine Jean-Pierre has long struggled with fulfilling her responsibilities as press secretary for Biden’s White House. Between violating the Hatch Act and accusing Republicans of “fighting to defund border patrol,” she has proven time and again that the press secretary hiring process had nothing to do with merit and everything to do with identity politics.

Now, even KJP is tired of her job. Instead of waiting to answer reporters’ questions, she now presents disclaimers of the questions she won’t answer - specifically, those related to Hunter Biden.

“Hunter Biden is a private citizen, and this was a personal matter for him,” KJP claimed at a Wednesday press conference. “As we have said, the president, the first lady–they love their son, and they support him as he continues to rebuild his life. This case was handled independently, as all of you know, by the Justice Department under the leadership of a prosecutor appointed by the former president, President Trump. So for anything further, as you know, and we’ve been very consistent from here, I’d refer you to the Department of Justice and to Hunter’s representatives–who is his legal team, obviously–who can address any of your questions.”

Despite the Biden family scandal accruing evidence every day and having national stakes, KJP wants you to know that it doesn’t matter–because Biden “loves” his son.

Unsurprisingly, the American people are fed up with this behavior and the lies exuding from it.

“If he’s a ‘private citizen’ why are tax payers paying for his travels, security and business deals[?]” asked one user on Twitter. “This is our own government gaslighting us. This relationship is severely abusive.”

“He is a private citizen but conducting business with foreign Nations that are tied to the American government,” tweeted Richard Al Farouq. “Make it make sense?”

User Tom Royce shared his thoughts with Twitter as well. “‘Who paid for the motorcade?’ This should have been the first question to KJP after she said the above if we had an honest media.”

The American people deserve a far more transparent administration–one that will answer the questions that truly matter.
