What better way for a terrorist regime to celebrate a colossal screw up by our U.S. government than by parading around with the weapons we gave them?
The Taliban held a televised parade on Wednesday to mark the third anniversary of brutally regaining control over Afghanistan following President Joe Biden's disastrous withdrawal of U.S. troops, reports the Associated Press. To add insult to injury, the terrorists celebrated their return to rule by driving around American military vehicles and showing off our abandoned weapons.
The U.S. left these behind in 2021 when President Joe Biden decided it was a smart idea to recklessly withdraw all remaining troops from Afghanistan, going against the wishes of his top military advisors so he could make a vanity statement in time for the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
Biden’s poorly-planned evacuation wreaked Middle East pandemonium, causing the deaths of 13 U.S. service members and leaving behind thousands of American citizens. His predecessor, former President Donald Trump, had already planned to wean Afghanistan off U.S. military presence, based on conditions the Taliban would’ve had to follow.

Trump also wanted enough personnel to remain in the area for longer so the Taliban wouldn’t be empowered to do...well, exactly what they did when Biden took office and reversed those plans. That didn’t stop the administration and Biden’s mainstream media allies from immediately rushing to his defense, blaming the previous president for his blunder.
