Four of America’s most shameful blue-city mayors received a long-overdue verbal spanking by Republican Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) for protecting the rights of illegal aliens over their own constituents.

These Democrat lawmakers were lined up before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on Wednesday to testify over the disastrous effects of their “sanctuary” policies.

“You all have blood on your hands,” began Mace, introducing her series of rapid “yes or no questions.”

You’d think they were simple, for example, answering whether or not “you acknowledge breaking and entering into our country is a crime.”

But that line of questioning left the panel of progressives stammering in their seats.

Only crickets came out of New York Mayor Eric Adams, before the frustrated congresswoman moved on to Denver Mayor Mike Johnston who apparently believes “it depends” how you break in.

She wasn’t much more successful with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson who attempted to respond with a word salad about “comprehensive immigration reform policies,” but was also cut off.

Next was Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, who revealed her allegiance to criminals just a few days prior, offering condolences to a violent thug because he was shot while attempting to stab people in her city.

“Mayor Wu, do you have a better answer than these gentlemen before you?” asked Mace.

She answered “yes.” That implies she acknowledges she’s breaking the law for having previously admitted “we don’t force federal immigration law.”

The spineless mayors proved even more shameful when they could barely answer the congresswoman’s next question:

“When an illegal alien rapes a woman, do you believe you’re on the right side of history?”

Each lawmaker hem and hawed, including Johnston who claimed he would “charge and prosecute” them, contradicting his previous vow to go to jail to protect illegals.

“No! Rape is horrible!” insisted Wu when it was her turn to answer again.

“Then why are you letting rapists back out on the streets?!” pressed Mace, to which Wu denied.

“That is not true! That is not what is happening in Boston!” she responded defensively. Except that is seems that's exactly what has happened under her jurisdiction.

Illegal Guatemalan Selvin Alex Galvez-Mejia was released back into the city on bail for months after being charged with “aggravated rape of a child” in July.

The local ICE unit responsible for busting multiple MS-13 gang members, murderers and rape suspects after Trump’s inauguration would also claim otherwise.
