It’s pretty rich at this point to peddle the age-old trope that Hollywood is controlled by a scheming cabal of Jews, given the industry’s open support for wiping them off the face of the earth. But you can certainly blame a secular sect of cowardly progressives congratulating themselves for being the “good” Jews, and leading the rest of their tribe into Hollywood’s cinematic gas chamber.
The Academy awarded “No Other Land,” an anti-Israel “documentary” with an Oscar Sunday night, for achieving nothing more than regurgitating Hamas propaganda straight out of Pallywood. To nobody’s surprise, the movie’s “Palestinian” director, Basel Adra used his acceptance speech as an opportunity to charge Jews with “ethnic cleansing” for defending themselves against the terrorists who ethnically cleansed over 1,200 Israelis on October 7.

The performance turned more revolting when his Israeli co-director took the microphone to give his obligatory “as a Jew” endorsement, preaching that “the atrocious destruction of Gaza must end.”
“There is a different path. A political solution without ethnic supremacy, with national rights for both of our people,” he asserted. That rosy idea is a bit difficult to achieve when one of those groups reject every offer they were given for a national homeland because it meant Jews get to exist nearby.
Yet, he continued with his kumbaya cliches, naively proclaiming “my people can be truly safe if Basel’s freedom are truly free.” Except a “free Palestine,” according to Basel’s people, means free of Jews or… (Judenrein). We caught a glimpse of what that definition would look like when they sexually butchered Israeli women, burned alive babies and took 251 people hostage.
Most of those victims were also self-proclaimed peacemakers and Jewish hippie types just like Basel’s Israeli co-director. But they learned the tragic way that it’s tough to guarantee safety among a society that has previously vowed to “throw Jews into the sea.”
