Add Google to the list of unlikely tech companies scraping their racist “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” hiring practices.
“We’re committed to creating a workplace where all our employees can succeed and have equal opportunities, and over the last year we’ve been reviewing our programs designed to help us get there,” Google said in a statement to the Associated Press.
In a recent annual 10-K report their parent company filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Google reportedly nixed a previously used line that states they’re “committed to making diversity, equity, and inclusion part of everything we do and to growing a workforce that is representative of the users we serve.”
This follow’s both META’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos announcing a complete 180° on DEI, as they began to cozy up to President Donald Trump during his transition back into the White House.

While it’s nice to think our woke corporate giants are genuinely realizing the error of their ways, their attitude shift didn’t come without some “strong” encouragement by the President.
“Our teams are also evaluating changes required following recent court decisions and executive orders on this topic,” the company wrote to the AP, hinting at Trump’s recent executive order to “end illegal discrimination” and “restore merit-based opportunity.”
The order aims to “terminate all discriminatory and illegal preferences, mandates, policies, programs” pushed by the previous federal government, and to make federal agencies “combat illegal private-sector DEI preferences, mandates, policies, programs, and activities.”
Federal contractors who do not comply violate the 1863 False Claims Act, which holds those who make false claims to the government liable for three times the government’s damages.
