You’d think large corporations like Dove would learn a lesson from Bud Light that everything woke goes to hell. Instead, they apparently believe paving that same worn out path will get them anywhere other than retail ruin.

In a commercial resurfaced by LibsofTikTok, Dove advertised their latest hair care products to female customers by erasing women altogether. Excluding your consumer base in the name of “inclusion” doesn’t seem like the smartest marketing strategy.

Still, they replaced what should have been a female model with a man pretending to be a woman. The ad opened on their gender-confused subject flipping his hair around awkwardly in a cringey attempt to appear like he’s just one of the girls.

Surprise! It didn’t work.

Social media users immediately pointed out Dove for their gender swap, calling for a Bud Light style boycott.

Rather than reading the room, the company switched off the comments under their advertisement. But, as one user noted, this “isn’t Dove’s first time disrespecting women.”

Their 2017 ad campaign celebrated #RealMoms by replacing them with men as well.

“At Dove, we believe there’s nothing more beautiful than being yourself,” the company laughably proclaims in a statement affirming the delusions of the “LGBTQIA+” alphabet brigade.

Because nothing screams “being yourself” more than pretending to be someone else.
