DNC Hypocrisy Called Out By...Former CNN Star?!

Getting fired by CNN might be one of the best things that has happened to Chris Cuomo’s journalism career.

Ever since News Nation saved the fired CNN anchor with a new job, he seems to be shifting away from regurgitating the Leftist ramblings of his former outlet to take up a slightly more balanced reporting. Hear what he reported on the ground floor inside the Democratic National Convention center and judge for yourself:

“A big theme here at the DNC is that they are going to go after corporate gouging and they’re going to go after corporations, whether it’s in taxes, largesse, loopholes,” he told his audience.

Then, he had his cameraman pan upward, showing the ring of luxury boxes above the arena, “filled with the same people that they say they’re going to regulate.”

“They (the Democrats) are literally looking down on the faithful … and being told, ‘We’re going to make them pay their fair share,'” Cuomo added, calling out the hypocrisy of progressives.

The ring of suites are priced from $100,000 to $5 million, according to a Politico chart,  and are populated with wealthy donors to the party that claims to be for the working class.

“You think there’s like, a teacher group up in there?” he asked “You think it’s like the Cub Scouts of Columbia County, SC, that’s up in those boxes?”

Cuomo proceeded to complain how even he doesn’t get the privilege of reporting from the suites that his colleagues from other mainstream media outlets bought, because of the outrageous price.

“Why do you think I’m on the floor?” he asked. “NewsNation is not a broke company,” he stated, calling its parent company, Nexstar, a “massive organization.”

“We are corporate media [but] we don’t have one of those boxes because that’s the game,” Cuomo added. “You pay to play.”

“Do as I say, not as I do” seems to be the motto of this week’s convention, with billionaire A-listers taking the stage to lecture everyday Americans on taking “more than they needed.”

Of course, Cuomo made sure to drag Republicans into his rant, insisting “the same thing is true with the Republican side."
