In the People's Republic of California, the people are apparently second-class citizens to foreign rapists in power.

This story began when Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law allowing aliens to become police officers in 2022. Now, one of those officers, a Brazilian national with a criminal history of domestic violence, has just been arrested for allegedly raping a mentally disabled woman.

The foreign-born cop, who previously served in his own nation’s Air Force, was initially arrested in 2017 for allegedly striking his wife repeatedly in the face and stomach during their Florida vacation, according to ABC 7. In the charging affidavit, one officer wrote that he "observed a large bruise that covered most of (his wife's) left cheek and scratches to her right cheek." But Florida’s state attorney eventually dropped the charges after Gomes insisted his wife scratched him first.

But despite receiving multiple warnings of his wife-beating background, and despite and his not actually being a citizen of the United States, San Mateo’s Belmont Police department had entrusted Felipe Gomes with a police badge and a gun to protect the civilized society he's not a part of.

"Past law enforcement contact that does not result in charges are not disqualifying in of itself under policies or applicable law,” Belmont Chief Ken Stenquist smugly reasoned for hiring Gomes anyway.

That decision went as well as you’d expect.

Gomes was fired last week on suspicion of raping a woman who was not mentally capable of consenting to his sexual advances.

It’s only a matter of time before other aliens abuse the power our blue-state leaders have entrusted them with.
