Well, it doesn’t get much clearer than this. A federal appeals court voted 2-1 on Wednesday against U.S. District Court Judge Emmet J. Sullivan’s call for the Justice Department to have to defend their decision to drop their case against former national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

According to the Daily Caller:

Judge Neomi Rao, a Trump appointee who wrote the opinion, said the case was “about whether, after the government has explained why a prosecution is no longer in the public interest, the district judge may prolong the prosecution by appointing an amicus, encouraging public participation, and probing the government’s motives.”

President Donald Trump tweeted his approval of the decision:

In 2017, Flynn plead guilty for allegedly lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about his interactions with Russian ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislyak during Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. The Department of Justice decided to drop the case against Flynn in early May.

“Through the course of my review of General Flynn’s case, I concluded the proper and just course was to dismiss the case," U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen said in a May 7th statement, according to the DOJ. "I briefed Attorney General Barr on my findings, advised him on these conclusions, and he agreed.”

The left’s witch hunt of anything related to Trump and his administration will never end. It’s not about right and wrong. It’s about framing everything Trump or people that work with him or for him as another case of ‘orange man bad.’

Flynn is just another person that the left will continue to try to defame, shame and try to tame because he isn’t one of the left’s parrots that merely repeats their radical talking points.
