Joy Behar Laments Not Being Able to Vacation In Italy Thanks to War in Europe

Joy Behar is really, really upset about Ukraine.

Not because its sovereign borders are being invaded by a hostile communist dictator with an ego the size of Montana and no regard for human life.

Not because at least a dozen Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and hundreds of people wounded, and it's only been about 24 hours.

Not because Ukraine is passing out automatic weapons to anyone willing to hold one and fight, or because men are kissing their children goodbye at train stations as their families flee their embattled cities, or because the global economy – including the United States – is about to get hit with higher gas prices .

On, no. Behar is upset because the bloodbath might screw up her vacation.

After her fellow “The View” host Sunny Hostin brought up the “heartbreaking” refugee crisis that’s likely about to hit Europe as Ukrainians flee Russian aggression, Behar responded:

“I’m scared of what’s going to happen in Western Europe, too, “ she said. You just, you plan a trip…I’ve wanted to go to Italy for four years and haven’t been able to make it because of the pandemic, and now this. And it’s like, what’s going to happen there?”

Never mind the slaughter and bloodshed and untold numbers of innocent people who'll be left dead or displaced by a dictator taking over their nation. The real tragedy is that Joy here might not be able to sip on some montepulciano while floating down the Po.
