A post-production supervisor for INE Entertainment got what was coming to him when he was fired after publicly wishing death on "the Covington Kids" and their parents.

Erik Abriss, who is also a writer for the website Vulture, decided it would be a good idea to call for the death of the Catholic high school students who received false media coverage alleging they were taunting a Native American elder.

In a now-deleted tweet Abriss wrote, “I don’t know what it says about me but I’ve truly lost the ability to articulate the hysterical rage, nausea, and heartache this makes me feel. I just want these people to die. Simple as that. Every single one of them. And their parents.”

In another tweet, he called the students "white slugs" and added, "F**cking die."

Spoken like a true leftist who hates anyone on the right. Here is an archived version of that tweet:

Though INE pushed Abriss’ to seek employment elsewhere — he is still employed by Vulture as of now — they did express their appreciation for the work he did while he was with the company.

“We were surprised and upset to see the inflammatory and offensive rhetoric used on Erik Abriss’ Twitter account this weekend. He worked with the company in our post-production department and never as a writer,” INE told TheWrap in a statement on Monday.

“While we appreciated his work, it is clear that he is no longer aligned with our company’s core values of respect and tolerance. Therefore, as of January 21, 2019, we have severed ties with Abriss.”

Well, justice has been served. Maybe Abriss will learn from this or maybe not. One thing I do know is that it’s never a good approach to call for someone’s death just because you’re angry at them. Just saying.
