The Washington Huskies women’s volleyball team retracted its scholarship offer to a prospect after reports emerged that the girl in question was actually a guy.

Initially, the Huskies planned on offering Tate Drageset, a 16-year-old junior from California, one of only 12 female D1 scholarships they had to offer. However, all of that changed when news broke that Drageset was born male and tried to make himself a female later on in life.

Apparently, the boy’s family had also worked incredibly hard to keep the boy’s true identity hidden from the general public. As an aside, Tate’s mother, Stacey, published a book in 2015 that encouraged children to be “their authentic selves regardless of where they fall on the gender spectrum.” So to say the family is bought in on living by the LGBT worldview would be an understatement.

Additionally, Reduxx reported that Tate’s physical attributes were far and away better than that of his female competitors at the high school level.

“When compared to same-height female athletes within his volleyball club, Drageset’s standing reach, vertical jump, and other key physical metrics are all more favorable,” Reduxx noted.

Gee, there's a shock. A boy being more physically gifted than many females his own age. It’s almost like those of us with common sense have been saying this the whole time…

Thankfully, the Huskies quickly reversed course thanks in part to Riley Gaines calling out Washington for the scholarship offer.

Once the Big 10 school officially withdrew the offer, she gave the Huskies due credit as well.

In all fairness to Washington, I am glad that they didn’t welcome him on the team in the name of “inclusivity.” They could have easily bowed to public pressure and let Tate play because of their fear of getting crucified by the LGBT mafia. Instead, they showed some backbone.

But next time, let’s hope they do a little more vetting and research so they don’t offer women’s scholarships to men.
