Another day, another example of boys invading girls' sports and taking away the awards due to them.
Minnesota just wrapped up its Class 4A Section 5 softball championship on Thursday, and Champlin Park defeated Rogers - the defending state champs - in back-to-back games to take home the title. Marrissa Rothenberger pitched two shutouts to help guide Champlin Park to the top of the division.
But there’s a slight problem with Rothenberger’s involvement.

You see, when Rothenberger was nine years old, everybody knew that Charlie Dean was a boy. Then his mom applied to a local court to have his birth certificate altered to claim he was born a girl, and he began going by "Marrissa."
The fact of the matter is that Rothenberger has always been a boy and will always be a boy. But because Minnesota allows and celebrates gender madness, Rothenberger was allowed to compete in the girls' softball team…and unsurprisingly crushed his competition.
This past season in the regular season and playoffs, he finished with a 9-1 record, a 0.95 ERA, and 83 strikeouts.

Both victories came behind the arm of “Marissa” Rothenberger—a biological male competing in girls’ softball. pic.twitter.com/jkMlRIVU1n

It doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to figure out that Rothenberger has an unfair physical advantage over the girls on the other team. Seems pretty darn obvious that something is wrong here. And yet, Minnesota is just standing by twiddling their thumbs and going, “Meh, nothing to see here. We don’t really care about actual women all that much. Let the kids play!”
One day, we will again live in a country where men are not allowed to play in women’s sports. But it seems today is not that day.
