Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels made perhaps one of the most electric plays of the NFL season on Sunday, and yet he still chose to give all the glory to God instead.

Daniels and the Commanders were down 15-12 to the Chicago Bears with two seconds remaining, and they needed to launch a pass into the end zone - which was a whopping 52 yards away - to win. In a do-or-die moment, Daniels bought time, moved around to escape defenders, and heaved a ball into the night sky.

By some miracle, the ball deflected out of the pile of bodies out front and found its way to wide receiver Noah Brown. Just like that, the Commanders snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and sealed an 18-15 win.

I mean seriously, could you get a more dramatic ending than that? What’s even crazier is that Daniels was questionable to play this week due to a rib injury, and yet he still found the strength to be ready for the game.

But he wasn’t too concerned with talking about himself in the postgame interview. Instead, he first focused on praising God for giving him the health necessary to be on the field for the game.

"All glory to God," he said. "Without Him, I didn't even think I'd be playing this week." He added that it took "a lot of long hours, long days, but I put myself in the position to go out here."

It looks like the Commanders got more than just a phenomenal athlete with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 Draft. They got a seemingly humble, God-fearing man as well.

What a game. What a play. What a player. All glory to God!
