James Harden still isn’t over the fact that he hasn’t been traded, and he’s taken to extremely petty measures to change that.
The Philadelphia 76ers guard has long made it clear that he wants out of Philly, as evidenced by a series of comments he made last month regarding team President Daryl Morey. Harden’s remarks centered around Morey tweeting his support for the Hong Kong protestors in 2019, for which Harden called him a “liar.”
Six weeks later and with no trade possibilities opening up, Harden is calling him a fraud once again. But this time, he got more creative in his delivery.
Harden hosted a party and had waitresses at the club hold signs that read: “Daryl Morey is a liar.”

Points for creativity, but more points deducted because of the extreme level of pettiness.

Harden has acted like an entitled brat before, but this is a whole different level of immaturity. If he’s mad about being in Philadelphia, taking cheap shots at your team president at a club is not the proper way to handle your frustration.
Furthermore, Harden’s choice to hold out on resolving a trade solution could cost him next year. According to the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement, the 76ers could block Harden’s free agency status in 2024 if he holds out for more than 30 days.
But Harden still seems content keep acting like a child.
