It really is this plain and simple, folks. Socialism sucks. What do you do with an ideology that shuns the free market in favor of the government being everyone's mommy and daddy? How does that ever succeed? It never has, so far.

Nonpartisan organization Job Creators Network (JCN) was none too pleased with the victory lap socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) took after Amazon pulled out of their deal to build a second headquarters in New York, buying billboard space in Times Square to respond to Ocasio-Cortez's ignorance.

Here's Ocasio-Cortez's tweet following Amazon's announcement on Valentine's Day:

The move to build in New York, despite receiving a major tax break to do so, would have resulted in 25,000 new jobs and countless amounts of money in revenue for the area by way of Amazon employees shopping at local businesses. Amazon was also planning on spending $2.5 billion towards building their new headquarters.

In response, the JCN billboard sarcastically thanked Ocasio-Cortez, while also listing what her victory cost the state of New York and New York City.

Fox News' Laura Ingraham snapped a shot of the billboard, already up in Times Square:

Just in case you didn't notice it at the bottom of the billboard, JCN used the hashtag #SocialismTakesCapitalismCreates.

"The Amazon pullout is a perfect example of what we’ve been saying: socialism takes and capitalism creates,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO. “The economic consequences of Amazon’s pullout is just a small taste of the harm that is to come if Ocasio-Cortez’s anti-business canon comes to fruition and is made federal policy."

I really couldn't have said it any better myself.
