Jimmy Carter is back…again.

At a forum moderated by Jon Meecham, the former president was asked how the U.S. should deal with Russia attempting to subvert our country’s free and fair elections.

Carter’s response? He demanded Trump address and condemn the interference and even going so far as to call Trump an illegitimate president.

"I think a full investigation would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016," Carter said. "He lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf."

While this utterly disregards that Trump did not, in fact, lose the election, nor was the election hacked, Carter refused to say Trump wasn’t an illegitimate president when asked point-blank, instead saying: “Basically, what I just said, which I can’t retract.”

It looks like Carter hasn’t lost any sense of wrongness in his old age.
