Do you remember Jill Stein?

She was the Green Party candidate for president in 2016. You know, the same candidate who raised millions of dollars for a recount effort she knew would never work? The same person who was charged with criminal trespassing after protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline?

That one.

Stein is back in the news this week after an appearance on MSNBC where she defended North Korea.

“The demonization of North Korea is part of the run-up to regime change. It’s part of demonizing a government that we then want to exercise regime change on,” Stein claimed.

Even the MSNBC host, Alex Witt, was shocked by this odd statement. Witt pointed out, "It's the North Koreans that have added the provocation in launching missiles" -- before Stein interrupted, saying:

“But remember where that came from. Long before they began their missile tests, the U.S. was conducting nuclear bombing runs against North Korea. We actually had nuclear weapons until the end of the cold war.”

Jill Stein sounds about as brainwashed as the people of North Korea, who are taught from a young age that the United States is an enemy aggressor. Even with her colorful past, Stein's defense of the communist dictatorship with known human rights violations is very bizarre. And that's putting it kindly.
