It’s ironic that the most famous person to come out of a sitcom called “Friends” is now making headlines for being a bigot and pushing people to encroach on other’s personal freedoms.
Jennifer Aniston, who should be recast in a sitcom called “Enemies” or “Commies,” went from mild mannered all-American actress to indignant, callous medical tyrant over the COVID vaccine and those who refuse to get it. Aniston said some pretty harsh things about people who haven’t gotten vaccinated, basically calling them immoral, and saying that they should reveal themselves to the world so people know who to avoid.
“There’s still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts. It’s a real shame,” Aniston said in an interview with InStyle. Oh, right. Because doing everything the CDC and the government advise on COVID has been so straightforward, hasn’t it?
Aniston added, “I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate.” Oh, that’s interesting. We assume she’s implying that she got them out of her life, much like how liberals love unfriending conservatives on Facebook.
Then Aniston revealed that she is no fan of privacy, even in medical situations when privacy should be most valued. In fact, she called it a “moral obligation” to reveal your health situation to the world. She told the outlet, “I feel it’s your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we’re not all podded up and being tested every single day.” That last line is very interesting. These people don’t understand freedom. It’s either disclose your sensitive info to the government or get into a cage and provide daily samples for the medical experts.
Then she spoke some real irony: “It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.” OK, Jen. You’re the one cutting out friends and basically advocating for a medical history truth serum because of a virus that has a minute death rate for moderately healthy people. But please tell us more about “fear and propaganda.”
Something tells us that Jennifer would be one of the few vaccinated ladies wearing her face mask on an outdoor run because the Surgeon General thinks that’s a good idea, currently.
Alright, alright. Enough with being super hard on Miss Aniston. She did say one smart thing about limiting her cable news consumption so as to avoid inducing more paranoia: “I’ve really had to stop [keeping it on too much]. We all went through news fatigue, panic fatigue, during the pandemic because we were hoping one day we would wake up and hear something hopeful.”
Well, thank goodness she’s limiting herself somewhat. Considering how radical she sounds on COVID precautions, one more episode of Don Lemon Tonight and she may have gone full basket case. Word to the wise: if you’re unvaxxed, steer clear of Jennifer.
