Despite leftists' wishful thinking, it turns out Lynette Hardaway - also known as "Diamond" from the conservative commentary duo Diamond & Silk, did not die of COVID after all.

That rumor had caught traction shortly after Hardaway's death was announced via social media on January 9, with liberals immediately assuming - and widely claiming publicly - that Hardaway had passed away from COVID complications after having been hospitalized back in November. Despite the fact that Hardaway had previously denied having been sick with COVID around the Thanksgiving holiday, a sourceless article published on the Black news website "Blavity" claimed she'd contracted the coronavirus.

That article has since been removed, but leftists ran with it anyway.

And so, following Hardaway's sudden passing earlier this month, her detractors reacted with outright glee that the Trump-supporting COVID skeptic may have died from the same virus she urged her fans not to get jabbed for. But, as with so many things in life, it turns out they were wrong.

According to Hardaway's death certificate, "Diamond" passed away from heart disease due to high blood pressure, per the Associated Press.

“COVID-19 was not listed as a cause or contributing factor on her death certificate, which was provided to the AP by the Hoke County Register of Deeds and was signed by a local doctor. No autopsy was performed,” AP wrote.

Though I don't expect the libs to correct their hateful tweets or errant headlines, nor will social media flag them as "misinformation."
