Social Media Influencer Goes Viral Licking Toilet Bowl - Now Reports He’s Got COVID-19

It seems the trend of licking things on camera and hoping the internet likes it continues, as 21-year-old social media influencer “Larz” went viral earlier this week for licking a toilet bowl. Now, mere days later, he’s reportedly been hospitalized with coronavirus.

Larz uploaded a video of himself licking the toilet bowl along with the ironic caption ”RT to spread awareness for Coronavirus”. The action was part of a Tik-Tok challenge started last week when Tik-Tok user Ava Louise licked the toilet in an airplane bathroom.

(Warning: The video below is just gross)

Later, in a since-deleted tweet, Larz reportedly announced that he had been diagnosed with Coronavirus.

And this is not the first time the influencer has filmed himself licking something with the goal of going viral, as Larz was also a participant in the bizarre summer trend of 2019 wherein people were licking Blue Bell ice cream, and then placing it back in store freezers.

As much as this pandemic crisis has done to bring the American people together in an unprecedented way, there is no denying that it’s also caused a significant amount of utter lunacy to surface.

"It wasn’t clear whether Larz’s apparent infection was linked to the stunt," The New York Post reports.
