If Journey Breaks Up, It's Donald Trump's Fault

Somehow, President Donald Trump always gets the blame for anything and everything that goes on in the world. He's really been slammed for an alleged rise in sexism, racism, and even devolving workplace morale

Now, however, it's hit a bit too close to home to be funny.

A Palm Beach Post article entitled, "Is Donald Trump breaking up the band Journey?"

I know what you are all thinking: what could the president have possibly done? Did he send fake dear John emails to each of the bandmates from each other? Did he tweet that they were "fake music"?

Nope. As it turns out, Trump did almost nothing, aside from taking a picture with three band members and severely offending a third. Don't stop believing that this is all ridiculous. The Post reports:

[Neal] Schon was referencing a visit to Washington in late July, when three members — singer Arnel Pineda, keyboardist Jonathan Cain and bassist Ross Valory, says Billboard — posed for pictures with the president and staffers as well as reportedly met press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

To many – including NBC News, which reported on the event – it may have come across like an official band visit to the White House. Yet, Schon took to social media to let his nearly 30,000 followers know that he was shocked and disappointed by his band mates’ actions. The result has generated plenty of headlines and concern among fans.

Turns out though, while Schon may be mad at his bandmates for the visit, it seems like there was already some bad blood between the group, and perhaps of the Taylor Swift variety.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the band has considered touring without Schon, and Schon himself has said that band morale has been low for at least two years.

Hopefully after "All These Years," Journey will not say "The Party's Over."
