The Huffington Post is apparently watching a completely different television than the rest of us.
In response to the Democrats’ dour-faced rebuttal to President Trump’s Tuesday national address calling for a border wall, the left-leaning outlet claimed in a hilariously inaccurate tweet Wednesday that “The image of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer standing stoically together schooling the president was an instant hit on Twitter.”

And everyone laughed, and laughed…
Apparently, the Cryptkeeper and his wife doing their best impression of American Gothic was totally lost on HuffPo, who thought the Democratic leadership delivered a stellar performance, writing, “The House speaker and Senate minority leader delivered a powerful rebuttal to the president, but Twitter users couldn’t resist turning them into memes.”
Everyone else, not so much. Here’s a quick sampling:

While the Huffington Post was busy waxing poetic about Pelosi and Schumer's alleged smackdown of Trump's speech, it looks like Twitter was not.
Then again, if I brought nothing but regurgitated political rhetoric to a fact-fight, I'd probably look constipated, too.
