How Aboot That? Hockey Coach Going Viral For Telling Players to 'Get the F*** Out' If They Disrespect National Anthems

Hockey coaches and players are not known for being people who mince their words. They’re super polite, but cross them and they’ll tell you exactly how they feel. Being forthright and honest are both admirable qualities, and one coach was recently as honest with his players as he could get.

The coach, who has yet to be identified, is going viral on Twitter after basically giving his players an ultimatum concerning both the American and Canadian national anthems.

Take a look:

Here’s a transcript of what the coach told his players:

We’re not women’s soccer. We’re not the NFL. If there’s anybody here who is going to be disrespectful to either the American or the Canadian national anthem, grab your gear and get the f**k out now, because you’ll never see the ice in this arena. We don’t have that problem in hockey. We’re better than that, but there was no sense in wasting anybody’s time if that s**t was going to happen.

Tell us how you really feel, coach?

The video has over 618,000 views on Twitter, as of this writing, along with almost 12,000 retweets and over 33,000 likes. The video could’ve first been seen on YouTube, where it currently has over 13,000 views and climbing.

The coach was was straight to the point and couldn’t have put much better if he tried. He is most definitely not a women’s soccer coach (wink, wink).
