You have to be a special kind of evil to do something like this.

An attacker struck a woman with cancer in the head outside of her hospice home in Zion, Ill., resulting in the woman’s death.

Shannon Vincel, a 46-year-old Missouri native, was sitting outside her hospice residence at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Monday evening when someone, who police are reporting as male, struck Vincel in the head.

Vincel unfortunately died the next day.

Police are saying that the blow to the head caused “severe head trauma.”

The Cancer Treament Centers of America posted a $25,000 reward Thursday for any information leading to the arrest of the waste of space who carried out this disturbing act.

For those that live in the Chicago area, WGN reports anyone who has information related to the case should call Zion Police Department at 847-872-8000 or Lake County Crime Stoppers at 847-662-2222.
