On Monday, October 12th, the first day of Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmations hearings, supporters and detractors of Judge Amy Coney Barrett gathered in front of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Supporters of Judge Barrett boasted of her constitutionalist and originalist approach to interpreting the Constitution, her strong faith, and how she leads her family. In comparison, those who were there to protest Barrett’s confirmation predictably didn’t have much to say besides “the process should not be rushed.”
