Hillary: We Hate Those Trump Supporters We Can’t Convert

On Friday, Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton declared her hate for “half” of Donald Trump supporters, especially those who can never be brought around to her way of thinking.

Clinton made the comment Friday night at a fundraiser:

"To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call 'the basket of deplorables.' Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up.”

"Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable.”

Okay, well, maybe not “half” of them are “deplorables,” Clinton admitted the next day after taking heat for the comment – but, she stuck by her claim that some of them are despicable and irredeemable.

“I regret saying ‘half’ — that was wrong,”

According to Merriam-Webster, to “deplore” is to hate and those Clinton deems irredeemable are “not able to be saved, helped or made better” – so they are beyond salvation.

Clinton did not say what should be done to deal with those who are hated and cannot be indoctrinated.

And, given the left’s ever-expanding definition of what it means to be “ist” or “phobic,” it’s surprising that her original estimate of “half” is so low.

Basically, you run the risk of being called a “deplorable” by liberals if you believe:

  • People should enter the country legally and, if they don’t, they shouldn't stay, OR
  • Boys should not use the girls’ bathroom, OR
  • Marriage is between one man and one woman, OR
  • Radical Islamic terrorism should be called “Radical Islamic terrorism,” OR
  • America’s constitutional and Judeo-Christian values are exceptional, OR
  • Anything else that does not support liberal doctrine
