Hilarious! CBS News Anchor Awkwardly Explains Why 'Young Black Men' are at the White House

I can't make this stuff up, folks. Sometimes when you're doing a live broadcast, and you have to think of what to say on the fly, your words might not come out the way you want them to.

CBS News' Anne-Marie Green and Vladimir Duthiers were in the middle of live coverage of the "suspicious package" suspect being arrested when Green made an on-air gaffe that I found so funny that I had to tell all of you about it.

President Trump was scheduled to deliver remarks at the 2018 Young Black Leadership Summit, so CBS News had a live shot from the White House awaiting Trump's arrival. That's when Green made the unintentional gaffe.

Without further ado, here you go:

"Actually, you can see the shot where we're awaiting the president," Green said. "He's meeting with young black men today I believe, right? You can see that's why the crowd looks the way it is."

Sure. It's as if it came as some kind of shock to Green that "young black men" were at the White House.

Obviously Green wasn't being intentionally racist. She merely misspoke during a tense broadcast. But, it was still damn funny.
