Phil Roberston reminds us, as he accepts his free speech award,  that we should be able to speak freely without needing to be awarded for it.

Throughout Mr. Robertson's speech he brings up three of our founding fathers (George Washington, John Adams, and James Madison) who had a thing or two to say about morality and a country of free people remaining free.

Phil said The Constitution was written for a moral and righteous people, not any other, and that:

"we got too many any others in the white house and it wasn't meant for them."

"Religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. If virtue cannot be inspired in our people in greater measure, they will not be able to attain a lasting liberty.

Near the end of the speech Phil had this to say after blasting bloated bureaucracies would kick the federal government out of the every waking moment of our life and I would tell them to quit blowing our money.

A standing ovation erupted.
