The New York magazine recently ran a story about a high school student who made $72 million dollars by playing the stock market during his lunch. The New York Post even ran a follow up story. Well it turns out Mohammed Islam never made $72 million dollars and actually made the whole thing up. If this kid was looking to get his name out there he sure did and hopefully these publications will learn to look into a story a little more before they run with it. (via)
