House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) claims she has a lot of "love for America" and that's why she asked the House Judiciary Committee to proceed with drafting articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
“With allegiance to our founders and a heart full of love for America, today I am asking our chairmen to proceed with Articles of Impeachment,” Pelosi said in a statement on Capitol Hill on Thursday.
He “leaves us no choice but to act,” she said.
Can't you feel the divisive political hatred....I mean "love?"
“Yesterday at the Judiciary Committee the American people heard testimony from leading American constitutional scholars, who eliminated without a doubt, that the president’s actions are a profound violation of the public trust.”
Pelosi didn't mention the testimony of law professor Jonathan Turley. Perhaps she was blinded by "love" and didn't see it.
Pelosi took no questions at the conference.
Democrats are expected to hold an impeachment vote before Christmas.
