Hateful Stephen King Says That Rittenhouse Reminds Him of Columbine School Shooter

Gabriel Hays | November 19, 2021

Stephen King seems intent on using his massive influence for evil these days. No exaggeration, the author behind horror classic It is trying to add to the hell of Kyle Rittenhouse’s gargantuan predicament.

In a disturbing tweet, King attempted to get 6.5 million Twitter followers to see Rittenhouse in the worst light possible as he faces several murder charges in a high profile trial that the whole country in convulsing over.

Instead of showing some sympathy to a young man who defended himself against an angry mob and potentially faces life in prison for shooting three men who were pursuing him, the author tweeted that Rittenhouse reminds him of one of the Columbine school shooters.

On November 19, King wrote, “In the Kenosha footage, Kyle Rittenhouse looks eerily like Eric Harris, one of the Columbine shooters.”

Really, King? Rittenhouse reminds you of one of the two disturbed Colorado teens who gunned down innocent children in a high school?

Sure, you can even say Rittenhouse was acting reckless (though if you watch the footage from the, it’s hard to make that argument,) but him shooting three men who were chasing him, one of which hit him with a skateboard while the other prepared to shoot him with a handgun, is not the same as killing 12 students and a teacher in cold blood.

What a disturbing and malicious tweet. And what is the point of it – to drive up more animosity and fear about Kyle to couple with the media’s narrative that he’s a “white supremacist” and murdering “militia” member?

Actually Stephen, come to think of it, Rittenhouse reminds us of a supervillain who was genetically engineered with the DNA of Dylan Roof, Nikolas Cruz – the boy who shot the kids in Parkland High School in 2018 – and Lee Harvey Oswald. How’s that? We’re going for real evil here, right?

Like King, other celebrities have demonstrated their ability for sheer callousness and vindictiveness when it comes to smearing a boy who used a gun to defend himself against a political mob we all know they support.

For example, the cowardly LeBron James went after Rittenhouse for crying on the witness stand last week. In what deserves to be in the top five most hated tweets in history, the basketball player wrote, “What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”

Yeah, well Rittenhouse has a confirmed case of PTSD from being chased down by riotous thugs in what looked more like a war zone than a “peaceful protest.”

It’s clear that King and others on the left want to see one young man who already went through hell to be universally hated. This is low, even for King.

Perhaps, Mr. King should get ready for a lawsuit from Mr. Rittenhouse if he walks. Actually, Kyle, if you’re reading this, we can’t strongly recommend it enough.
