There are a lot of things we as Americans take for granted in the lives we are afforded by living in this country. These are things we don't give a second thought about, and we are to the point where some of these things are almost expected. Free speech and freedom of the press are two of those things.
Do you know who independent journalist Tommy Robinson is? If not, you should. Robinson was essentially arrested for practicing journalism last Friday. Within a few hours, Robinson had been sentenced to 13 months in jail for attempting to report on a court case concerning Islamic "grooming gangs." The judge put a gag order on the British press from talking about Robinson's case before lifting the order.
