Harvard And Yale Students Storm Field For 'OK Boomer' Climate Change Protest

Students from Harvard and Yale rushed the field Saturday to stage a climate change protest during the halftime break of the Crimson’s annual game against the Bulldogs.

According to the Washington Post the protestors chanted “OK Boomer” as police made several arrests.

The protest didn’t sop the climate from changing but it did lead to about an hour delay of the second half of the game at the Yale Bowl.

The stadium lacks lights and required the double-overtime game to end in near darkness.

ESPN reports:

In a statement, the Ivy League referred to the protest as 'regrettable.' Yale said that while it 'stands firmly for the right to free expression,' it had issues with how the protesters went about their demonstration.

'The exercise of free expression on campus is subject to general conditions, and we do not allow disruption of university events,' Yale said in its own statement.
