This might sound crazy, but we should give a big thank you to former U.S. senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.). In an interview with CNN, Reid literally said a sentence that should be the example for what the rest of Americans see wrong with people who suffer from the non-life threatening, made-up disease of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

Reid was being interviewed by CNN’s Dana Bash to talk about the current political climate, as well as his battle with pancreatic cancer. While we should all wish Reid the best in terms of his cancer fight, which he says is in remission, it was what the former senator said when asked whether he thinks President Donald Trump’s doing anything right.

“You’ve had some choice words for President Trump, spoiled brat, con man, human leech, big fat guy, and amoral seems to be your favorite right now,” Bash said. “Is there anything you think he’s doing right?”

“Is there anything I think President Trump is doing right?” Reid repeated while collecting his thoughts on an answer. “I just have trouble accepting him as a person and so, frankly, I don’t see anything he’s doing right.”

There it is! Reid, and many others on the left like him, have so much blind hatred towards Trump that they can’t admit that Trump does anything positive.

It’s that same blind hatred that shields people like Reid from coming up with any substantive argument in their assessment of the president. The same far-left talking points are repeated, ad nauseam, by a dishonest media, agenda-driven politicians and bubble-confined celebrities. The arguments are typically based completely in emotion with very little fact to substantiate their claims.

President Trump isn’t perfect. But no one is perfect, let alone politicians. However, if you hate Trump so much that you can’t see the good in anything he does, it’s time to take a look in the mirror and determine whether it’s you that is responsible for the negative narratives.
