'Harry Potter' Star Daniel Radcliffe Won't Root for Tom Brady Because of MAGA Hat

Harry Potter star Danielle Radcliffe doesn’t seem to like Tom Brady so much, but it’s not for his “always winning” attitude -- it’s because of something the quarterback had in his locker.

During an interview with Variety magazine discussing his new show, Miracle Workers, Radcliffe was asked what team he will be rooting for in the Super Bowl. He made it clear it would be the Rams.

“Cause, like, the whole world’s rooting against the Patriots… sorry,” he said. “Take that MAGA hat out your locker! I feel like that was the moment when as a country we were all like, 'Come on, dude! You're awesome...Don't put that in here."

The actor seemed in good spirits as he said this but the underlying tone lined up with what most leftists think about the MAGA hat... It’s “racist,” and promotes “white supremacy.” How can a hat make people cringe so much? I just don’t get it.

If you’ll remember, back in 2015, Brady told the reporters he received the hat as a gift from then-presidential candidate Donald Trump for judging one of Trump’s beauty pageants.

“[Trump] sent it to me via [Robert Kraft]. I’ve know him since 2002 when I judged one of his beauty pageants. Imagine that, I was a judge at a Miss USA pageant in 2002. So, I’ve know him for a long time and he always gives me a call on different types of motivational speeches at different times,” Brady said.

Hopefully, the five-time Super Bowl winning quarterback won’t let the opinions of the fictional warlock hinder his performance in the upcoming championship game. I’m betting these thoughts won’t bother him in the least.
