Hannity Segment Shows Ill-Informed Trump Protesters Aren't Exclusive to U.S.

As someone who’s been to protest after protest covering what exactly these “activists” are constantly upset about, it’s not all that surprising to see that people in London protesting President Trump’s visit are just as clueless when it comes to their reasoning as Americans are.

Thousands of protesters took the streets of London on Friday to voice their displeasure with Trump setting foot on their land. The protesters didn’t seem to care about the almost 600,000 migrants who have essentially become Londoners from 2010 to 2015, according to the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford. They didn’t seem to care about how more and more of their human rights — like free speech — are being taken away in the name of “tolerance.” And, they don't seem to care about the “grooming gangs” that target young British women, resulting in rape and/or being placed into the sex slave trade.

But they sure as hell care about Trump legally entering their country for diplomatic talks with Queen Elizabeth II and British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Fox News host Sean Hannity — against the advice of those around him — decided to hit the streets to talk with protesters about why they are protesting the president. Judging by answers, the British protesters were just as inept as their American counterparts.

One Londoner even made the spectacular mental leap that Trump is “promoting climate change” because it’s “been hot this summer.”

Here’s the video :

Hannity made a good point. Was this gathering really about the protesters' unsubstantiated hatred of everything Trump, or was Trump’s visit merely an excuse to have a party in the streets of London?

Those of us that have had the utterly frustrating opportunity to interview protesters understand that activists base their arguments more on feelings than what actually is. Maybe that’s because more times than not, these “activists” don’t know why they’re protesting.
