Member of Congress, each of them, make $174,000 a year to ignore and not deliver on what the American people want. Some of them have tried for years to get that increased to include their Washington D.C. rent, their food and the utilities they have to pay.

Well apparently, while people have been distracted by Bud Light’s foray into the ‘Land of Make-believe, guidelines were approved for Congress earlier in April that does just that — pays for everything mentioned above.

When asked whether it’s a concern among members of Congress that the public might construe this move as a pay raise, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) immediately and smugly said, “No.”

When pushed further on it, Jeffries basically boiled those things down to being business expenses.

“It’s a reimbursement,” Jeffries said.

Really?! And when is the federal government of the United States and the crooks who work in its Congress going to give the American people a “reimbursement” for financing their existence?

If it weren’t for the American people and DNC machine of money, no one would’ve ever heard of Hakeem Jeffries or Mitch McConnell or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Kevin McCarthy.

These people owe their entire livelihoods to the American people — we just haven’t been “reimbursed” yet.
