This whole border wall debacle has come down to thing for the left - not letting President Trump claim victory for any reason and keeping up the appearance of caring about national security without taking any steps to actually secure the nation.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) answered questions from the media following a press conference on Tuesday in which the congressman noted that the left does not support a "medieval border wall," but would be agreeable to "fencing where it makes sense."

Take a look:

Does that make sense to any of you? For argument sake, let's just say that "fencing" was placed in certain strategic points along the border. You'd still have portions of the border left unprotected. So, even if "fencing" was put in place, what would prevent someone determined to illegally enter the U.S. from just going to a different part of the border that had less, if any, protection?

The left suggests things like this in order to make it publicly seem as if they give a hoot about national security, all because they hate the guy in the Oval Office. Sad.
