As a deadly snowstorm sweeps across 15 states, federal government websites simultaneously warn of both the descending record-setting blizzard – and global warming...for the second year in a row.

From the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), federal government websites tout both “record-shattering” temperatures and “blizzard bearing down” warnings.

But, while the devastation caused by the massive snowstorm can be seen in local and national news reports, both the Obama administration’s record temperature claims and global warming predictions of doom have been discredited.

Coincidentally, nearly a year ago to the day, NOAA was warning that we were on the verge of global warming “tipping points” – again, as record snowfalls blanketed the eastern states:

Global warming-caused flooding “tipping points” are approaching in the U.S., a NOAA study warns as record snowfall descends on states from New York on to the northeast.

“Sunny-day” flooding is already a problem warns the study, “From the extreme to the mean: Acceleration and tipping points of coastal inundation from sea level rise,” by NOAA’s William V. Sweet and Joseph Park.

“Coastal communities are beginning to experience sunny-day nuisance or urban flooding.”
