Gov. Andrew Cuomo Blames TRUMP for COVID Outbreak in NY - Seriously

P. Gardner Goldsmith | September 9, 2020

At a certain point, someone should  have an intervention with NY Governor Andrew Cuomo. The bellicose leftist keeps doing and saying things that indicate a troubling disconnect from reality and his oath to abide by the U.S. Constitution. In fact, as Breitbart’s Hannah Bleau reports, Cuomo just blamed President Trump for the COVID19 outbreak in HIS OWN state.

’Donald Trump caused the COVID outbreak in New York,’ Cuomo said, repeating his claim. ‘That is a fact. It’s a fact that he admitted and the CDC admitted and Fauci admitted.’

All of which, of course, is bogus.

And, contrary to reality, Cuomo again has claimed that COVID19 came from Europe, saying, "It was the European virus that came to New York. They missed it. They missed it."

But in a report on how Japan handled the outbreak, Cuomo’s favorite and magical U.S. CDC openly states:

With the emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in Wuhan, China, several countries, including Japan, repatriated their nationals…

Oh, but why bother with the facts?

Why bother with the fact that, starting March 25, Cuomo sent COVID-positive patients to NURSING HOMES, which appears to have been a major factor behind the deaths of thousands?

And why bother recognizing the fact that during the early weeks of the outbreak, the period Cuomo claims Trump wasn’t doing enough, it was Cuomo’s Democrat friends who were critical of Trump being TOO stringent about travel and being aware of the disease? As Bleau notes:

At the time, progressives accused Trump of implementing a ‘racist’ travel ban. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) even urged Americans to visit San Franciso, California’s Chinatown while actively working on legislation, dubbed the ‘No Ban Act,’ to prevent the president from implementing travel bans designed to protect Americans at home.

And why bother mentioning to Cuomo that, according to the U.S. Constitution, the very things he says Trump should have been doing are actually not in the Constitution and are supposed to be left up to the states – as long as the states aren’t interfering with the Bill of Rights, as Cuomo’s lockdowns have so clearly done?

There’s a nagging, lingering ugliness to Cuomo’s public appearances that stays with a person long after he leaves the podium.

It’s the awareness that the man not only misleads people, but that he seems to put extra effort into it, as if his increased verbosity or additional intensity can hide his deceptions and dishonesty.

If only there were someone who could step in and help him stop this. Perhaps a family member, like a… brother.

Ahh, but that would require the brother to appreciate honesty as well, and that doesn’t seem to be a realistic hope when looking at brother Chris and his time spent on TV.

Perhaps the public would like to inform Governor Cuomo of his errors. His office can be reached at their website, and, amazingly, Cuomo might not blame Trump for the existence of it.
