Illegal aliens now have a brand new app at their disposal in the event they are caught and arrested by federal immigration officials for being, well, here illegally.

Called “Notifica,” the new app will allow illegal aliens to send a single notification to up to 15 people people at a time – like family members, an attorney or their boss – letting them know they've been apprehended by ICE.

According to Fox News Tech, “All the messages will be sent simultaneously with the touch of a button and will be erased once they are opened, using a technology similar to Snapchat.”

Adrian Reyna, the app’s creator, said the alert will help illegal aliens notify their friends and family members and execute their contingency plans if and when one of them is finally caught. While I’m not 100 percent sure what such a plan would entail, I’m thinking something along the lines of “Got nabbed, head for Canada!” is likely.

In a clearly unbiased article entitled “5 Must-Have Apps For Undocumented Immigrants,” CNN listed Notifica at No. 1. (They also included an app that helps illegal aliens find sanctuary cities, and another than allows users to crowd-source immigration raids within a 10-20 mile radius.)

Reyna admitted the app won’t stop deportations or help a person win an immigration battle in court; however, having your attorney on a one-touch speed dial could be helpful for those looking to avoid getting kicked back to Guatemala.

Fox News reports 8,000 people have signed up for the free app, which will be available in April.
