Some United Kingdom citizens aren’t taking Thursday’s vote to leave the European Union as well as others.

Google reports there was a 100 percent spike in Google searches for Irish passport applications after news of the UK's decision to leave the EU broke.

Google also notes there was a 680 percent increase in Londoners searching for how to “Move to Gibraltar.”

“It's pretty unlikely that all those people who are searching for answers will up sticks and move," Jonathan Freeman, director of digital consumer insights firm i2 Media Research, told the BBC.

"Certainly a lot of people were pretty shocked, it was very close - people would have just been wanting to find as much information as they could.”
