One of Joe Biden’s own advisors believes that he couldn’t have won the 2020 presidential election on his views and personality alone.
In a book called "Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency," Biden Senior Advisor Anita Dunn is claimed to have said that “COVID is the best thing that ever happened to him,” in regard to Biden’s presidential campaign.
According to the Washington Examiner, the remark was made “at a time when the United States was struggling with rising death tolls, a shattered economy, and a health system close to breaking.”

The book, which was written by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, also asserted that Dunn had only said what “campaign officials believed but would never say in public.”
Polls have repeatedly shown that President Trump’s handling of the COVID pandemic - and the media's reporting of it - had a major impact on the 2020 election, after the U.S. had struggled for nearly a year with skyrocketing COVID death numbers and economically devastating shutdowns.
