At 4 p.m. local time yesterday evening in Berlin, a man went on a rampage through the Berlin Cathedral with a knife. And who stopped him? A good guy with a gun.

A local policeman armed with a gun arrived to investigate a reported incident of a “confused” man entering the cathedral wielding a knife.

Reports on the scene said that the suspect was “verbally aggressive” with another tourist in the cathedral right before the violence broke out. The policeman was wounded when he intervened, but managed to disarm the assailant by shooting him in the leg. The victim of the attacker was also wounded, and was taken along with the policeman to the hospital, along with the 53-year-old attacker.

Despite Germany having some of the strictest gun laws in all of Europe, they are ranked among the top five nations for total gun owners in the world. They have one of the lowest death-by-firearm rates in the world, as well - so low, in fact, that it's hard for gun grabbers to use Germany to push their narrative that fewer guns lead to less gun violence.

This is another classic case of a good guy with a gun stopping a bad guy with another weapon. Of course, the story was reported by the BBC and Sky News, but we haven't heard anything from CNN or the other liberal media networks in the U.S.

I suppose it just doesn’t quite fit their narrative.
