You hate to see it, you really do. Oh, who am I kidding?! It was hilarious that a prominent far-left member of “The Squad” was essentially told her presence wasn’t needed amongst those who either got her to where she is now and/or the people of her home country.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) attended a Somali concert over the weekend in Minneapolis and was promptly booed to the point organizers, performers and Omar herself had to try and calm the crowd down.

Here’s a spoiler — it didn’t work.

“Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, we don’t have all night,” Omar said, not understanding that condescension doesn’t work in trying to defuse a hostile crowd.

The more people on stage tried to quiet the crowd the louder they booed, and no one representing the state of Minnesota deserves it more. Some of the crowd are quoted as saying, "Get the f**k out of here" and "Get out!"

Take a look at the video. It’ll be one of the best things you see all week:

Poor Ilhan. Although, she posted video of her own to her Twitter account, ignoring the fact she was being booed. Maybe this was the best video she could find with the least amount of booing. I don’t know. Just playing devil’s advocate here.

It's like she revels in being hated. Weird.
