Big Tech is continuing their modus operandi of censoring anything that doesn’t fit within the narratives of Big Government, elitist media and Silicon Valley.

Sky News Australia, who have gained an enormous amount of popularity in the past year or so for their “based” commentary videos on YouTube, has been suspended for a week by YouTube for what the platform indicated is COVID misinformation.

According to the New York Post:

The 24-hour cable channel owned by News Corp, which also owns The Post, saw its YouTube account go dark on Thursday after a review of the page’s content allegedly unveiled videos denying the existence of COVID-19 and encouraging people to use untested experimental drugs to treat the virus without context[…]

A YouTube spokesperson said the clips were removed from the platform and the TV channel suspended “in accordance with … our long-standing strikes system.”

While Sky News Australia said in a statement that they “acknowledge YouTube’s right to enforce its policies, they said in a separate opinion article on its website that the outlet’s commentators have always encouraged the taking of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Sky News Australia commentators have all encouraged vaccines because they know it is a path out of lockdown,” the article written by Sky News Australia’s Digital Editor Jack Houghton read.

However, Houghton concluded the article by stating the following:

No one body should have that power - let alone an organisation with such a poor track record.

Even more concerning is what this does to the freedom of debate and conversation.

You have a right to debate Australia’s COVID-19 policies. Science, and the government’s response to that science, are two very different things.

If that conversation is stifled our political leaders will be free to act with immunity, without justification and lacking any sufficient scrutiny from the public.

Your freedom to think will be extinguished.

Big Tech wants the prevailing thought around the world to only be what they’re pushing as “the truth” and have no interest on pushback of any of those narratives. Sky News Australia isn't some third party conspiracy website. It's a major worldwide news outlet that YouTube has censored, because they didn't like what they were saying. Period.
