LGBT-rights protestors blasted loud music and danced the day away in front of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's home in Washington D.C. on Monday.

Besides boogying down, protesters waved rainbow flags and threw glitter and confetti. One demonstrator even chucked some confetti in the Majority Leader's mail box. The whole event, which took place at McConnell's Capitol Hill residence behind the Supreme Court, was broadcast live on the Twitter app Periscope

Because nothing says "serious protest" like twerking and glitter. But what did these dancing demonstrators seek to accomplish? Apparently, nothing to do with LGBT rights, as coordinated shouts of "Single Payer Now!" and "Health Care for All!" resounded from the crowd.

On top of that, McConnell was not even home at the time.

A member of the group that organized the protest, WERK for Peace (that's the real name), explained "Mitch McConnell and his cronies are cis-hetero able-bodied white men need to know that we will not give them a pass to blatantly attack our communities." Therefore, dance!

WERK for Peace have thrown similar "dance parties" in front of Vice President Mike Pence's D.C. home in January and the D.C. Trump Hotel in February. The latter protest was about climate change, the travel ban and other left-wing agenda points.

I guess all the liberal progressive pet issues have blurred together into one massive rainbow protest. Werk!
