Never one to mince words, Frank Gaffney, President of the Center for Security Policy claims that the Obama administration is pandering to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
OIC came to the attention of many Americans when it proposed a UN Resolution that would allow the UN Human rights council to adopt “….measures to criminalize incitement to imminent violence based on religion or belief.”
Of course this statute could be interpreted to prosecute anyone who said anything that leads a Muslim to resort to violence. As we all know, it’s not too difficult to incite some Muslims to riot or otherwise blow things up these days.
Of course, the fact that the Obama Administration did not condemn this right off the bat, should set off alarm bells for anyone who actually takes the First Amendment seriously.
Gaffney thinks that the relationship between Obama and the OIC is a close one and that many of their motives are shared.
